9 years of experience in Sustainable Development and management of Environmental and Social aspects while developing renewable energy projects in Africa. During her first experience at KPMG Paris as a Sustainable Development and Climate Change auditor, Meryem audited environmental, social and societal data for listed groups of CAC40 and SBF120. She then worked for 6 years at Masen (Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy), where she was leading the management of all environmental and social safeguards of large scale renewable energy projects in Morocco of more than 1500 MW and totalizing approximately 3.6 billion euros of investment. Meryem made sure that those environmental and social aspects where always managed in conformity with national legislation and lenders international standards, trough all phases of development including fund raising, structuring, construction and operation. She holds an engineering degree from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France. She is a citizen of Morocco and France.
