13 years of experience as a financier with particular experience in structured and project finance, PPPs and corporate finance. Doruk is currently a Director of Themis. In the last 4 years, he closed 2 power projects as developer in Sub-Saharan Africa, which have more than USD 500m total project costs in aggregate. He started his career as a Management Trainee at Denizbank in the Treasury, Corporate Sales and Project Finance Departments. After this experience, he has worked for TAV Airports, a leading airport construction and concession company in region, in the Project and Structured Finance Department for 6 years. He has been involved in projects which worth approximately USD 2bn and has closed financing transactions worth  USD 1.5bn and tender preparations of many others, worldwide. He has particularly worked in Eastern Europe, Caucasians, and MENA region. He holds a BA degree in Business Administration from a joint programme of Bilgi and Portsmouth Universities, and a Master Degree from Bilgi University in International Finance. He is a citizen of Turkey.
